When nothing seems to work, it’s time for a different approach.

At Weller Family Therapy, I help individuals, couples, and families finally feel understood. Whether you're navigating ADHD, life transitions, anxiety, or grief, I work with kids (age 7+), teens, adults, and couples using practical, evidence-based strategies that build confidence, strengthen relationships, and make daily life feel more manageable.

You're ready for real change—so you can finally understand what's been holding you or your child back, and help your family thrive.

Maybe it's the constant forgetfulness that feels like carelessness, the emotional overwhelm that seems to come out of nowhere, or feeling misunderstood no matter how hard you try. Maybe your family is in the middle of a major transition - a divorce, a new diagnosis, a loss, and nothing feels stable anymore. You're exhausted from strategies that don't stick and advice that doesn't fit, and you're wondering whether things can actually get better.

They can. Together we'll get to the root of what's making life hard, whether that's ADHD, anxiety, grief, or a season of change, and build strategies that actually work for your life.

WHO I HELP

  • Growing up isn't easy. And for kids navigating ADHD, anxiety, divorce, or other big life changes, it can feel especially overwhelming. I work with children and teens (ages 7+) to help them understand what's going on inside, build confidence, and develop practical skills for managing emotions, staying organized, and thriving at school and home. Whatever your child is facing, I'll create a safe space where they feel truly understood and leave with tools that actually work for them.

  • For years, you've been trying harder, wondering why everything feels more difficult than it should. Whether you're navigating ADHD, anxiety, grief, or a major life transition, you're not failing. Life is just genuinely hard right now, and you deserve real support.

I work with adults to untangle what's getting in the way and build practical strategies for focus, emotional regulation, and relationships that actually fit your life.

  • Every couple hits walls: miscommunication, emotional distance, patterns that seem impossible to break. Sometimes ADHD is part of the picture, where one or both partners struggle with focus, emotional intensity, or follow-through in ways that strain the relationship. But sometimes it's a life transition, a loss, or simply years of unresolved tension.

Whatever brought you here, I'll help you both feel heard, break cycles of blame and defensiveness, and rebuild the communication and closeness you're looking for.

However hard things feel right now and whatever you're up against, please hear this: I see you, I understand, and I'm here to walk through this with you.

I start by understanding what's actually going on in your specific life, whether that's ADHD, anxiety, a family in transition, or something harder to name. From there, we build personalized strategies that work with you, not against you. You'll leave every session with practical tools you can use right away.

HOW I WORK

I don't believe in cookie-cutter approaches.

  • Generic organizational tips and 'just try harder' advice don't work for ADHD brains. I use strategies specifically designed for how ADHD affects executive function, emotional regulation, and daily life—so you get tools that actually stick and make a real difference.

  • I don't just tell you what to do. We figure it out together. You know your life and challenges best; I bring the expertise and strategies to help you tackle them. We'll work as a team to build solutions that fit your actual life, not some idealized version of it. And when it helps, I'll collaborate with your child's school, your doctor, or other providers to make sure everyone is working toward the same goal.

  • I use research-backed approaches proven to help with a wide range of challenges, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), executive functioning coaching, and emotion regulation strategies. You're not getting random tips from the internet, you're getting evidence-based methods adapted to fit your specific needs, your brain, and your life.
