Helping kids and teens find their footing — whatever they're facing.
THERAPY FOR KIDS & TEENS IN PERSON IN SAN FRANCISCO AND ONLINE ACROSS CALIFORNIA, MARYLAND, PENNSYLVANIA, IDAHO, AND FLORIDA
Specialized therapy for ADHD, anxiety, emotional regulation, and the hard stuff that comes with growing up.
Your child is struggling — forgetting assignments despite trying, melting down over small setbacks, or shutting down when tasks feel overwhelming. They might say things like 'I can't do anything right' or 'Why is this so easy for everyone else?' The emotional intensity, the forgetfulness, the constant catch-up at school, these aren't character flaws. They're signs that your child needs the right support, and you're in the right place.
No matter how many strategies you've tried, nothing seems to stick.
HOW I CAN HELP
Therapy helps kids and teens understand what's getting in the way, develop practical strategies for executive functioning and emotional regulation, and build the kind of genuine confidence that actually sticks.
I use play therapy, creative activities, and age-appropriate conversations to help children and teens understand what's getting in the way, and build real skills to move forward. We'll work on executive functioning, emotional regulation, and confidence in ways that actually fit how your child's brain works, not generic advice that falls flat.
Over time, you'll see real changes: fewer emotional meltdowns, better organization, and a kid who no longer thinks of themselves as 'bad' or 'lazy.' Therapy isn't about fixing your child. It's about giving them the understanding and tools to truly thrive.

FAQS
Common questions about child & teen therapy
-
I've been providing virtual therapy to children for years now and have truly mastered the art of keeping kids engaged online. I use specialized platforms like Hopscotch Play that allow me to incorporate play therapy and art therapy techniques right into our sessions. These tools enable co-play, meaning I send your child a HIPAA-secure link during our session that lets us interact on the same screen while we're on our video call. For older children and teens who prefer more complex games, I also use platforms like Board Game Arena.
I'm passionate about the fact that children learn crucial emotional regulation and social skills through play—and virtual therapy doesn't have to sacrifice that. Play is how kids process their world, and I've found ways to bring that same therapeutic power into the online space.

Absolutely! I love when parents want to be actively involved in the therapy process. I offer parent coaching sessions where we can work on strategies together, and I also welcome parents to join their child's sessions when appropriate. Some families find it helpful to spend the first ten minutes of each session together as a check-in, while others prefer separate parent sessions. My goal is to build a collaborative relationship with you. Because when we work together as a team, your child benefits the most.

With your permission, I'm happy to collaborate with anyone else involved in your child's care. This might include school counselors, teachers, pediatricians, psychiatrists, or anyone else you feel would be helpful to involve. When we work as a coordinated team, your child gets the most comprehensive support possible. I'll only reach out to others with your written consent, and I'm always thoughtful about what information is shared to protect your child's privacy.
