Giving kids the tools to handle life's challenges with confidence.
CHILD THERAPY ACROSS MARYLAND, PENNSYLVANIA, IDAHO, AND FLORIDA
Science-backed, child-centered therapy that helps your child feel capable, connected, and like themselves again.
Your child might be saying things like "Nobody likes me" or "I can't do anything right." Some days they're anxious, overwhelmed, or shutting down completely—and sometimes all at once. Between the frequent meltdowns, you're noticing more complaints of headaches, stomach aches, or avoidance of school, friends, or activities they used to enjoy because everything feels "too hard."
No matter how many strategies you've tried, nothing seems to stick.
HOW I CAN HELP
Child therapy can help your child make sense of their big emotions, build coping skills, and feel more confident navigating the world around them.
Through play therapy, art, and age-appropriate conversations, I create a safe space where your child can express what they're feeling—even when they don't have the words for it yet. We'll work on identifying emotions, understanding triggers, and developing practical tools they can use when things feel overwhelming. Whether your child is dealing with anxiety, anger, sadness, or all of the above, therapy gives them a place to be heard, understood, and supported.
Over time, you'll start to see changes. The meltdowns may become less frequent or intense. Your child might start talking about their feelings instead of acting them out. They'll begin to handle challenges with more confidence and resilience. And as your child grows, the skills they learn in therapy become a foundation they can carry with them—helping them navigate friendships, school stress, and all the ups and downs that come with growing up. Therapy isn't just about fixing what's wrong—it's about helping your child build the emotional toolkit they need to thrive.

FAQS
Common questions about child therapy
-
I've been providing virtual therapy to children for years now and have truly mastered the art of keeping kids engaged online. I use specialized platforms like Hopscotch Play that allow me to incorporate play therapy and art therapy techniques right into our sessions. These tools enable co-play, meaning I send your child a HIPAA-secure link during our session that lets us interact on the same screen while we're on our video call. For older children and teens who prefer more complex games, I also use platforms like Board Game Arena.
I'm passionate about the fact that children learn crucial emotional regulation and social skills through play—and virtual therapy doesn't have to sacrifice that. Play is how kids process their world, and I've found ways to bring that same therapeutic power into the online space.ere

Absolutely! I love when parents want to be actively involved in the therapy process. I offer parent coaching sessions where we can work on strategies together, and I also welcome parents to join their child's sessions when appropriate. Some families find it helpful to spend the first ten minutes of each session together as a check-in, while others prefer separate parent sessions. My goal is to build a collaborative relationship with you. Because when we work together as a team, your child benefits the most.

With your permission, I'm happy to collaborate with anyone else involved in your child's care. This might include school counselors, teachers, pediatricians, psychiatrists, or anyone else you feel would be helpful to involve. When we work as a coordinated team, your child gets the most comprehensive support possible. I'll only reach out to others with your written consent, and I'm always thoughtful about what information is shared to protect your child's privacy.
